tewdaie

THIS FEELS LIKE NORMAL arrived today! Before even opening it or reading any of the poems, I already know it is going to be amazing thanks to the goofy ass forty on the cover -- drawn by the magical Tao Lin, no less! Someone should buy me his first poetry collection, 'you are a little bit happier than i am.' that would make me a little bit happier than them. and then i would win.

And in honor of an insane haiku i received in my inbox the other day dedicated to yours truly, last nite the laydeez and i penned (without a pen) a haiku of our own, dedicated to 30 Rock:

sex and awesomeness"

Whether you get that or not depends on whether or not you have the stamina and strength of character to watch the same 2 seasons of a television show ad nauseam.

"I like his lardy-ness," mum says about the rather dashing Alec Baldwin.

Also, people were pretty excitable today, judging from my kind of jarringly caps-infused inbox:

lol, i think i love the covers of poetry books just as much as (and, i'll admit, sometimes more than) the actual poems. the people who design novel covers take themselves way too seriously.
