i was never that thrilled with michelle williams on dawson's creek -- actually her character irritated me most of all, but in the last few years i've really warmed to her. she's got a mia farrow-ish elegance and grace that's hard to deny, and she was pretty fantastic in

gads, she totally bugged me on dawson's creek, too! which is why i was so surprised by how fantastic she was in 'brokeback'.. but i really think it's because she was too mature for the creek kids and that show, in general. or, she really grew into her own once she got away from dawson. these photos/photo shoot: beautiful.
